FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Where do you deliver?
    We deliver our products on a weekly basis to several areas in KZN. These areas include: • Pietermaritzburg • Howick • Hilton • Durban • Umdloti • Umhlanga • Westville • Kloof • Hillcrest. We also offer ad hoc deliveries to Amanzimtoti and Ballito upon request. In case you are interested in placing orders from other areas, we would be happy to consider delivery based on the size of your order.
  • When do you deliver?
    Our weekly delivery days are as follows: Monday - Friday Pietermaritzburg Wednesday Howick, Hilton, Durban, Umdloti, Umhlanga, Westville, Kloof, Hillcrest and surrounds *Amanzimtoti and Ballito deliveries are ad hoc upon request
  • How long will delivery take?
    Our M'eat is sourced from Matatiele and arrives in our freezers every Tuesday. This means that orders placed on or before Thursdays will be delivered the following week. Please note that it takes between 5 - 7 days to receive your order, so plan accordingly.
  • How much does delivery cost?
    Our delivery services are charged at a flat rate of R40 per order. This rate applies to all orders, regardless of size or weight.
  • What payment methods are accepted?
    EFT Cash on delivery Debit or credit card on delivery
  • How do payment and weights work?
    We would like to inform you that when placing your order with us, we do our best to fulfill your chosen weights for each product. However, due to the nature of our products, it is impossible to get many cuts to the exact weight displayed online. For example, 1kg of Brisket will be slightly different every single time. Here's how it works: 1. Place your order as normal, with your chosen weights for each product. 2. You will receive an order summary with the indicative invoice amount. No immediate payment required at this stage. 3. The day before delivery, you will receive a final invoice amount via email with the exact weights and costs of each product. Please note that weights can vary up to 10% under or over on certain items, such as 900g – 1.1kg Beef Brisket. 4. Prior to delivery, you can choose to make an EFT payment before 16h00 (preferred) or pay cash on delivery. Please indicate your preferred payment method.
  • Do I need to be home to receive my delivery?
    We highly recommend having someone at home on the day of delivery, as the meat products included in your order require refrigeration upon delivery.
  • How do I order?

  • When is the weekly order cut-off?
    Orders placed on or before Thursday will be delivered the following week. If you missed the cut-off, don't worry, you can still place your order and we will let you know which of our products we can deliver. Our popular products are often in stock, so please feel free to check with us.
